Accessibility statement

The aim is to produce the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health’s Work-Life Knowledge website in an accessible manner. This accessibility statement applies to the Work-Life Knowledge online service and its language versions.

Compliance

The website of the Work-life Knowledge Service has been implemented mostly in accordance with level A of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

Non-accessible content

The Work-Life Knowledge service contains single page applications (SPAs) that are based on the choices made by the user in the user interface. SPAs are used for visualizing complex and extensive data. The visualization colours mainly comply with the WCAG 2.1 standard’s AA requirement level (colour contrast, font design). Due to the interactive nature of the indicators and the extensive amount of data presented in them, it is not possible to make them entirely accessible without unreasonable workload.

Creation of the accessibility statement

The Work-Life Knowledge website was published on 12 March 2019. This statement was prepared on 2019-09-23. The information in the statement is based on automatic testing, user testing and self-assessment.

Feedback and contact information

We welcome feedback, questions and suggestions to improve the accessibility of the website.

Accessibility complaint or request for clarification

If we have not made the changes required for accessibility to the service, you can file an accessibility complaint or request for clarification regarding our site. In Finland, the supervisory authority for accessibility is the Regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland (ESAVI).
