Differences and similarities in occupational safety management between digital and non-digital work outside the workplace
In the public debate, there is a lot of talk about digital remote and hybrid work and their increasing popularity. However, work has been done outside the workplace for a long time before digitalization. Traditionally, for example, maintenance and repair work as well as home care have taken place outside the workplace, such as in client companies' production facilities, clients' homes or elsewhere. It is therefore appropriate to talk about digital and non-digital work outside the workplace. In work outside the workplace, identifying hazards is not always easy. Especially in digital remote and hybrid work, occupational hazards are easily unrecognized and effective practices have necessarily not yet been established.
